“800 Degrees Pizza” is a chain of pizzerias throughout the world, originally from California. The concept of the place is to create your pizza. Like at home, only with professional dough 🙂
The menu is quite simple: 5 types of pizza bases, a variety of different add-ons, a couple of appetizers, a couple of salads, drinks (alcoholic or not). English menu is available (which is good for non-Japanese). If you do not run wild with add-ons, then a bill for a pizza will be about 1500-1800 yen.
The pizzeria is located at Shinjuku station; the room is quite spacious, there’s enough space; a bathroom doesn’t seem to be around.
The service is as follows: order a pizza base, add-ons, go with a ticket to the cashier, order drinks there, the bill is assigned a number by which they call you when the pizza is ready.
A variety of Japanese add-ons is available as well!
Pizzas wait in line too!
Furnaces are another feature of the venue! They look very real and this guy’s work is quite difficult, as he has to watch after multiple pizzas to be evenly prepared.
I’d like to note on the appearance of the staff. First, they’ve got very cool uniform, and it becomes girls and boys equally well. Second, all employees of the venue are attractive, every single one of them!
Caesar salad, looks good, but it feels that there are mostly herbs.
Whatever add-ons, every pizza looks good!
Free hot sauce for pizza.
Free stylish water.
There were a lot of visitors but there’s no feeling of crowd or congestion.
There is a bar stand; people eat there as well. Between the bartender and visitors there are many wine bottles from all over the world.
We ordered a simple Margherita without add-ons and a tasty lemonade.
