Fujikawaguchiko is one of the favourite destinations to escape for weekend from Tokyo. Located near Mt. Fuji, in this area tourists can find relaxing onsens (hot springs), beautiful nature and, of course, the food. Let’s have a look at one interesting spot called Cafe Prado.
The cafe might be a bit hard to notice because it is away from the road, so please be careful not to miss.
Also it’s important to know that they don’t have any food except desserts (no breakfast, no lunch, no dinner).
Guests can sit outside if they like.
The choice of desserts and coffee is quite large. In addition, the store has a lot of gift sets of sweets, cakes and so on.
In the cafe everything is clean and tidy.
I really liked the interior. It was cosy and minimalistic, with very nice pictures and illustrations. I noticed that Japanese often try to recreate the style of Provence in this kind of cafes. I liked that idea. However, I would like to see more natural light.
Each guest must make an order, this is the rule of the cafe. We ordered two coffees and one dessert. I really liked the serving – tableware wasn’t cheap (obviously not from a 100yen shop), it was selected with love.
There is nothing to say about the desserts, they can only admire – the most delicate, fresh, delicious!
Coffee was delicious and strong. People who’ve been to Japan know that such coffee is not good. But in this case we were pleasantly surprised.
Magic is created behind the window!
I definitely can recommend this cafe to visit.
